These are japanese eggplants harvested in Dec 2015.  I put a little starter plant in the ground in April 2015, and it began to bring me primal nutrition within 2 months and continued to do so for nearly 6 months.  A good one she was!!  Definitely a repeat for Spring 2016.  These are smaller than the typical eggplant seen in your grocer’s produce section.  I find that japanese eggplants chopped and sautéed in butter and seasoning creates an outstanding companion to a primal feast.
