A snapshot of my spring garden selection. A few bags of soil to add to my existing garden beds. Once the garden beds are established, each successive year simply requires a bag or two of garden soil in addition to my composting soil, which I spread over each garden bed.
Marigolds add some color and deter garden insects. In this photo, I have a mixture of hot peppers; green and red bell peppers; various tomatoes; basil; and a cilantro plant. I still plan to purchase some cucumber plants and maybe some summer squash.
