brussels sprouts

Here’s a collection of my brussels sprouts plant.  To my surprise, it grew for several months and the plant itself got pretty massive before deciding to produce these cool, little sprouts that you see here.  Only the stem with the sprouts are sold in grocery stores, but you can see the massive leaves that support the growth of these cool cousins to the cabbage plant.

The photos are from Oct 31, 2016 to May 23, 2017.   Typical maturation period is 80-90 days, so I’m going for the world record on time to maturity.
