It’s difficult to find a better source of protein, vitamins, and minerals than in a nicely prepared steak.  And if you’ve had your fill of steak for the week, toss in grilled chicken for your protein source.  All this talk of red meat being bad for us…utter nonsense.  As for saturated fat in red meat, welcome it, for the body needs saturated fat in addition to the unsaturated fats.  What is important is the quality of meat, and that’s determined by your standards that you’ve established as well as the resources you’ve allocated towards acquiring your nutrition.  I think it should be open to each individual and the importance he/she places on the quality of nutrition.
