These two photos show how tomatillo plants grow. Loads of flowers, which produce tomatillos if cross-pollinated, so I plant two individual plants side by side. Bees and other insects fly from flower to flower to create this magic. Tomatillos have a thin layer surrounding it, which peels off easily. They look like green tomatoes and are ideal in homemade salsa. Necesito salsa!
